ABOUT CERTIFICATE PROGRAM
The completion of the leadership certificate program offers an opportunity to practice and be well-prepared to become the best leader in the future. The experience through the certificate program has instilled the characteristics of a leader. In addition, there have been discoveries into my own strengths and weaknesses. Further, the program has strengthened the knowledge to deal with communications and teamwork skills. Lastly but not the least, the program, as a reminded, has inscribed the importance’s to remember to give back when possible and help others. By practicing and reflecting through four I-programs, I learned basic leadership theories as well as useful teamwork skills. I have to say changes did take place when I applied those skills into real life when I was doing my internship in Bank of China as well as assisting Illini Statistics Club. Not only my working efficiency with others has greatly improved but my relationship with others as well. I firmly believe that experiences through Illini leadership certificate program will benefit my whole life and help me to become a leader everybody trust.
